Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus served 32.3 million passengers in 2010; as of 2009, it was the 13th-busiest passenger airport in North America and the 24th-busiest in the world.

Directions: Take I-94 to the Metro Airport/Merriman/Middlebelt exit. Or, enter off Eureka Road, between I-275 and Middlebelt Road.

Cell phone waiting areas: The north lot is off the East Service Drive at Lucas Drive. The south lot is on the south side of Eureka Road, west of the airport entrance. Motorists must remain with their vehicles. Note that terminal curb fronts are for active loading and unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be towed.
